Thai Food to Try

Khao Soi Noodles

$20.90+

Northern Thai curry noodles with pickled cabbage, lime, and crispy noodles.

“Came here on a Wednesday night with a party of 7 with no reservation around 7pm. There was no wait and the host (Patrick) seated us while we waited for the rest of our party to arrive. The food was amazing and priced reasonably. I ordered the Khao Soi and it was very flavorful. Everyone in my party loved their food. Patrick was also very friendly and had great customer service. Overall we had a great experience.”

Thai Boat Noodles

$19.80

Pork, meatballs, pork rind, greens, and sprouts fill rich garlic-oil broth.

“Had an amazing meal here today! Every dish was flavorful, fresh, and beautiful presented. The papaya salad was perfectly balanced, the boat noodles were rich and authentic, and the tamarind shrimp was a standout. My favorite was the Vela Omelette, soft, fluffy, and absolutely delicious! Great service, cozy atmosphere, and you can tell they really care about the quality of the food. Definitely a place I’ll come back to. Highly recommend!”

Basil Plate

$19.25+

Basil Plate combines basil, vegetables, a chosen protein, and jasmine rice.

“Loved everything at Vela Brunch & Thai Restaurant. The food was flavorful, beautifully plated, and felt like Thai comfort food with a modern twist. Kor Moo Yang were juicy, Vela omelette were rich and creamy, and even the veggies were super fresh. I also highly recommend the Mok Pla, one of their special menu items — 10/10, must try! Service was amazing too — friendly, attentive, and made us feel really taken care of❤️❤️ Such a cozy spot, would definitely come back!!”

Tom Yum Or Tom Kha Goong (Pot)

$29.70

Creamy hot-and-sour soup with tiger prawns, mushrooms, and herbs.

“We went there for lunch. The service was great. Everyone was attentive and very friendly. They gave us the lunch menu but we noticed pictures of the Tamarind Prawns that were on the dinner menu. They were very accommodating on offering to serve that even though it was lunch time. Food-wise, everything tasted amazing. Both the tamarind prawns and the VeLa Omelet were full of Thai-inspired flavors. Highly recommended to try out.”

Vela Omelette (Crab or Sous-Vide Duck Breast)

$30.80

An omelette with crab or duck, mushrooms, tobiko, and optional sauce.

“We came here for dinner but I really wanted to try their vela omelette that they only serve for brunch. The staff was so kind to accommodate my request and served it to me! It was sooooo good! Generous amount of crab meat and the sauce has a little bit of kick which just balances the creaminess of the dish. My husband ordered the chef’s special which is catfish wrapped in banana leaf and veggies on the side. Overall, such a delightful meal!!!”
